let's go to steve. sal? >> yes, sir. >> speaking looking good, yesterday's weather. >> it was awesome. >> yes. we had 75 in the city. classic case yesterday for my forecast originally i wrote 75 and said i'll go 72. came in 75. but we have a three degree guarantee. if it comes in at 77 or 73 after that it's a bust. that's the old weather rule of thumb. fog is back. now it's shallow. yesterday we -- the coast was clear as we say but not the case today. look at that fog filling in. it's still kind of held in check because high pressure's built in so it puts a cap on it. steps on it a little bit. but it's around 1,000 feet. it's not making over the coastal hills but pushing inland. over oakland right now starting to make that push towards other locations around the bay and there's a decent little sea breeze starting to kick up as well for some. our observer in crockett said i can feel that little more westerly breeze and i'll say
4:57 am
so. there's napa south-southwest 12 fairfield west-southwest 13. southwest 6 is vacaville. if they get a delta breeze that tells you i'm struggling with inland temps. still low 90s today but 60s 70s closer to the coast and bay. another low will kind of knock the high back over towards the middle of the country. to be honest with you this is just unbelievablely massive high pressure system. it's controlling almost the entire country which is why i mean the core of it is right over the middle of the country where the heat index, humidity, temperature about 130 for some. it's just brutal. i was watching a show there up in toronto, canada, and the lady says 95 up here in toronto, canada. you know it's hot. low clouds, fog for us. cool to warm. friday into saturday more fog and cooling trend. maybe little warm up sunday and monday. roller coaster here. one day we warm up, next couple days we cool down. there will be a cool down today low to mid-90s far enough away i think there thereby enough of a westerly breeze take about three to five degrees off some of those highs yesterday concord livermore around 95 yesterday. fog will be increasing cooler
4:58 am
